Mavis Matshura
Dr Mavis Mazhura, Psy.D in Leadership Psychology, is an Adult Development and Leadership Psychologist with deep expertise in human dynamics within organisations. She is a multiple award-winning Global Training and Development Leader and Coach, recognised as LMI Facilitator of the Year for Africa and the Middle East and LMI Motivator of the Year for Africa and the Middle East.
She is the author of several books, including Self-Leadership, Navigating the Rapids and Waves of Life: 10 Lessons to Managing Emotions for Success, Managing Emotions for Financial Freedom, and others. Dr Mazhura is an experienced trainer, facilitator, and keynote speaker at both public and private engagements. Having studied and worked in the Netherlands, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the United States, she brings a rich diversity of experience and a truly global, cosmopolitan mindset to her work.
Her mission is to transform survival-based leadership identities into emotional renewal, identity alignment, and sustainable performance. She delivers both one-on-one and group coaching programmes, supporting leaders to navigate complexity, pressure, and change with clarity and resilience.
Dr Mazhura has spoken at conferences, trained, and coached individuals and teams across organisations in Uganda, Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Canada, the United States, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Vietnam, Australia, Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Benin, India, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Eswatini (Swaziland), and Indonesia. She is a licensed LMI Transformative Coach.
The LMI coaching approach is designed to shift mindsets, formulate new behaviours, and embed sustainable habits that drive measurable results. Each coaching programme is grounded in principles of psychology and neuroscience for behaviour change, integrating regular feedback, SMART goal setting, mindset and attitude shifts, multi-sensory input, spaced repetition, and the measurement of return on investment (ROI).
